Disclaimer: Mistakes are quite likely in the notes and no guarantees are made as to accuracy. There may be other versions of the same dance or other dances with the same name. Music may differ, particularly in speed, introduction and duration, between performers. The division into parts, bars & counts might not be standard. These notes of the dance are freely distributable (under GPL or CC-by-sa) in so much as the note's author's contribution but the choreography and/or collection were by other people and so their copyright might apply to the dance itself. Better than using notes, go to a dance class where it is taught.
A very simple very slow Sacred/Circle dance. I find the dance itself rather too Circle meditative/drippy for my tastes but I find the music very atmospheric.
The music is Israeli (it is an arrangement of a traditional Passover song) but the dance is not. There is an Israeli dance of the same name to a version of the same song but apparently (I've only seen a video of it) that is a line dance and lot faster.
(Unlike most of the dances I have put on my website, this is not one I've taught. A friend put my rough notes on her website so I had to tidy it up and make the tidied version available. I don't have as much confidence in these notes as I would like. E.g. I only found out the choreographer was known when a reader told me I should have included the name.)
